    Hi Folks

Cisco are changing their CCNA syllabus and Sept 30th is the last day to take the old 640-802 test.

The new CCNA called 200-120 exam will be much more difficult to pass with new topics such as Network mgmt (netflow, snmp) IPV6 and multi-area OSPF added.

My advice would be if you are currently studying for the CCNA then aim to take the exam before 30th September or you could find yourself having to do a more difficult exam afterwards.

Not difficult - I'd be interested in setting up a free in person study group to teach / learn and lab these things up on real hardware. It would be a community based effort and it would be free. If anyone is interested in participating or contributing please let me know.

Sounds good too. I did the ccna course back in the punt days but never did the exam. Where are you based? Maybe start a new tread for this?

    Cheers

I am studying for ICND1 now but I am meant to be travelling for 3 months so wont have time to study for ICND 2. Is it possible to mix ICND1 of the old exam with ICND2 of the new exam to get my CCNA?
