    Apparently he's a rather charitable man, I've heard of a few donations before but I can't find anything on it now.

    He's actually a really sound bloke. Obviously he has a public personality which he needs to keep going as it is an extremely effective marketing ploy but anyone I know who has met him have said he is sound. This is including a few Ryanair staff.

    If you catch him on a good day round ryanair head office he is a very decent bloke

    He's known to be fairly charitable even by what the media sees of him, only positive reporting he gets (although I seriously doubt that's any motivation)

    As said his public persona is simply a very effective marketing tool.

    I spent a lot of time in his company in the past including being in his own home on a couple of occasions and you couldn't meet a nicer bloke.
