Coris 24hAssistance ski pass insurance

    Hi,

    Has anyone got any dealings with Coris 24hAssistance and making a claim from them? We were offered insurance on the lift pass in Cervinia this year. It was 2e a day or something small and entitled you to a refund on the ski pass for any days where the lifts were closed due to bad weather. We decided to take it out. 3 of us did. One of the days the lifts were closed due to bad weather and we asked in the lift pass office about claiming the refund. We were given an e-mail address and photocopy of our ski pass by the ski pass office. We've since scanned the lift pass photocopy and sent it to the e-mail address. We got confirmation that we were entitled to a refund and they asked for IBAN numbers. We have still not received the refund (over 6 weeks ago now) and each week I e-mail them and get the excuse of their accounting department needs to process the payment. I don't know how to escalate it at the moment as all I can find is their website. They are not on facebook and searching the web doesn't give too much info. They are still replying to all my mails though on a weekly basis and telling me there is a delay!

    Has anyone else used them and got a refund or is anyone else in the same situation?

    Just an update. I stepped up the e-mail frequency to 1 a day this week and it seems the persistence has paid off. I got my refund today. It's now almost 8 weeks since I first made the claim.
