honours/ordinary degree.

    Is it the case that after 3 years in an honours degree, you qualify for an ordinary degree. I have been asked this a couple of times off different people.
    I would have thought it to be untrue but the amount I've been asked has made myself wonder.

    In DCU all degrees are Hons, no pass/ordinary degrees awarded by DCU.

    If you want an ordinary degree you need to go the IT route. Do your first two years then one more year to give you your ordinary degree. (IT institutes of Tech...)
