    Hi guys,
I bought a TB Display in the US Apple Store and I'm having it shipped (via a friend) to Ireland.

There is no difference in the US / IE voltage (it's listed as Input voltage: 100-240V AC; 50-60Hz on both sites) but is there be any issue with the plug that I should be aware off, other than the different plug format?

    Cheers guys.

    Hi Rollo

    From the apple store:

    "What’s in the Box

    LED Cinema Display
    AC power cord
    Printed documentation"

AC Power cord, so just buy an normal three prong kettle lead or ask any IT guy for one (we have stupid amounts of them).

OP, as a previous poster has said, the mains connection on the screen will probably be the same as on your electric kettle, this cable should do the business....

Or if you have a spare 3-pin plug in the house, just snip off the US plug and replace it with your own.

Cool beans. Just wanted to double check. Would hate to be the dummy that plugged it in only for it to kaboooom.

No fear of that, even the US model is good for worldwide use as it's 100-240V 50/60 Hz like you said.
