Hi guys and gals,
Have a quick question for the more knowledgeable folk...

I have my laptop encrypted with Bitlocker, using a USB key to start the machine rather than a TPM. The question I have is, do I need to de-crypt everything before I add a new component (adding an internal BT module) to the laptop? I was sure I read somewhere that Bitlocker will think its under attack if certain things are added/ removed, or the start up programs/ BIOS is changed in some way?

Laptop is an Acer Aspire 5542 running Win7 Ultimate if it makes a difference.

Any input appreciated on this. Thanks.
