the passenger side window on my opel corsa has stopped working, it is electric. The switch on drivers side and passenger side do nothing, anthing else bar the fuse, that I could check?

Take out the driver side switch block and take out the connector block and blow on it and put it back in
    That's just from my experience
Other possibility are switch is fcuked
And could cost about 10 quid in scrap yard
But I'd check the block under switch just to see

Can I just prize the switch out with screw drivers?

check that the child lock isnt on!

It happened my dad a couple of years back and for months was cursing the thing.
He then went to the main dealer (50km away!) to get it fixed and was shown the child lock feature that disables the non driver power windows etc.
Thankfully they didnt charge for the "fix".

It's just a 3 door, no child lock I think, and neither of the two switches work.

If both switches stopped working it together, it would be reasonable to assume that its the motor or a problem at that end of the system. If on the other hand one switch failed ages ago and now the other has stopped too, well it could well be switches.

Both switch just suddenly stopped working, window was working fine until then. I took swticthes out looked at them and put back in , still no joy, I looked for wires that are maybe broken but I don't see any. Are window motors expensive?

You can probably buy a full assembly for less than 70e from a scrappy
