    hi all,

What's the best way and type of paint for copper pipes leading into radiator?
Would it be oil-based paint or water-based emulation paint? Is a primer required?
    thanks in advance.

A couple of coats of gloss or satin will do. No need for primer.

You can get covers cheap enough. Better looking job in my opinion. A lot quicker too. You dont need to open any places, they will fit around the 1/2 inch pipe. You just trim to required length

    Rough idea:> http://www.woodiesdiy.com/Product/Radiator-Decoration-Kit-4-Radiators/13287/6.0.0.7
