Ovale ego-c

Lads, bought an Ovale ego-c starter pack last Tuesday.

The batteries, of which I have two, seem to be lasting less and less time each charge. I got 4 hours of fairly mild use out of a battery today before it blinked to say it needed charging.

    Is this normal?

    Thanks.

What size are they? Generally speaking a 650 mAh lasts around 6-7 hours of normal vaping, 900 mAh around 9 hours etc...for me anyway....

My new ego twist is the same. The charger will go green, telling me it's done, yet it only lasts a few hours. I wonder if leaving them to charge longer, even if the charging light is green, would help?

    It's starting to bug me.
What's the next step up for me that I can still just screw a ce4 clearo onto?

You could try the ego LCD battery types, or the twist. But, as I said, my twist runs out pretty quick, it seems, too. And it's genuine joyetech. My LCD batt's, which are some third party make, last longer.

Well you should definitely bring those batteries back if they're faulty, Ovale have to take it back if the batteries aren't up to scratch.

How many mls of juice do you go through in the time it takes for a battery to die, using what device at what resistance?

The next step up from eGos is the Vamo. It's big, but it has a small mode. Which is big.
Couple it with a few eFest or AW 18350 batteries and you're winning.

As GH said, what size(mah) are they, and roughly how much juice did you manage to vape with the battery?

I have a Vamo on the way. Bit big for out door use but ideal for home. The ego batt's will be my more discreet, out and about back ups.

I think I'm kinda, sorta, maybe experiencing the same lack of longevity with my eGo Twists.
I have one 1100 mah, two 900 mahs and four 650 mahs (I know, four...) aswell as four mini eGo's.

Last week I took notes on the duration of SOME. I wasn't doing anything that day, so it was the ideal time to test them out, to see how I'd fare at weekends.
The 1100 mah lasted me exactly 7 Hrs 40 Mins. I would have expected one of my 650's to last that. Haven't tested the 650 as of yet but I know I generally get 7 Hrs out of it when I'm not at work.

One of my mini eGo's, a 350 mah, lasted exactly 6.5 Hrs, which was very, very good. Compare that to my 1100 mah - only lasted one hour and 10 mins more.

Both batteries were fresh off the charger at the time and I used the same T3 clearo, standard resistance, on them both.
The eGo Twist I set and left at 3.2 (the lowest wattage).

The following day I tested out my two new 510-T XL 280 mah batteries (as these are to be what I will be using at work/outdoors in future, aswell as the mini eGo's of course) on a Vision Nano clearo (beautiful little combo btw).
Well I have to say I was BLOWN AWAY by these skinny babes!
One lasted me 6 Hrs 50 Mins...though oddly the other only lasted 5 Hrs 10 Mins (and of the latter I cooked dinner and dyed, washed and dried my hair...I know too much info :)) but there you go.

My OH got so fond of nicking my 650 mahs (black and "manly" you see - the eGo's, not him...) that I had to send away for a set of his own (Kanger Twist).
Sneaky me presented him with the two already used eGo's (passed them off as the new ones, that'll teach him) because I had since heard that you can/are supposed to charge up new eGo's for a full eight hours before you use them. Some YouTube-r quoted Dr Vapor as advising this.
I did a quick Google and though there wasn't much info in general, I'm sure it was also mentioned on ECF (Electric Cig Forum).
Whether or not it adds to the longevity of each use I don't know but no harm to try, eh?
I did it but have yet to test. Will update in the next few days.

Same is happening with my 1100 and 650mah Joyetech Twists.Seems to be an ever so slight but continuous loss of battery power over time and they're only six weeks old.I have another two 650's (also Twists) that aren't Joyetechs and they're absolutely fine.

I'm getting in and around 5hrs with the 1100  and 3hrs with the 650.
After realising what battery length I should have been getting,I don't think they were working properly from the start.

    They are genuine Joyetechs-I hope!

Are they taking a while to charge or only a short time
Some PC USB ports seem to have the problem that the Charger thinks the battery is charged when it isnt

I'm using the wall charger, the usb chargers just suck the battery life out of a laptop. I only use that if I'm away.

It seems to charge up quick enough yeah, and go green. Could be a charger issue then?

If the center pin on the battery isn't making proper or intermittent contact then then the battery will appear charged when it isn't.

Gently lift the center pin and see if that makes a difference.

If the contact on these batteries are dirty, they'll show green a lot sooner than you'd expect. My ego-c was showing as charged within 3 minutes. Wipe out both contacts with a tissue. That'll help to ensure you get a full charge.
