    Hi

Was surfing the bay lately and saw a lot of nice Vintage IWC.

All seem to be from the Ukraine, they do look very good.....but am very suspicious as they seem to be old movements but new cases

Tempting as they are I would steer well clear, should they be reported..would anyone care?

    DT

Ebay don't seem to DT. Ive reported them before and nada happened. They usually get around the rules by using the "restored" word, "fake" and "Frankenwatch" would be better descriptions. Indeed it's incredibly rare to find a non fake vintage watch coming from the Ukraine, Poland can be a minefield too.

Rejoice in the awareness of feeling stupid, for that’s how you end up learning new things. If you’re not aware you’re stupid, you probably are.

Agreed with what was said above. When these watches were originally released the majority of them were not sold in eastern Europe. So seeing a glut of these watches for sale from these countries always raises suspicions.
