hunting in carlow

    hi im looking to start hunting in carlow any advice on permissions hunting clubs et al cheers
    im licenced and have insurance looking for vermin shooting wit a .22
    also is their such a thing as hunting on public land in ireland

    When I started shooting, I found out where there were plenty of rabbits etc and simply knocked on doors.
    the farmers were generally glad of the offer when they were plagued by numbers - six rabbits eat the same as one sheep!
    That was my best line and it remains true.

    dont think many will give advice on this topic,they want their permissions to them selfs;)
