Decent mechanic in Dundalk (for passat)

My cousins looking to buy a passat. Can anyone recommend any decent mechanics that could check it out before he hands over the cash. (obviously mechanic will be paid for his time too)

Damian Moran in Hill St works on that type of car so should have a good idea about them
