medical card renewal

    Our medical card expires in May 2013,when should i be receiving a renewal form(or do we)?.Do i need to ring up someone or what is the procedure?/.

    You should get it before now.
    However, someone I know just got theirs renewed without having to resubmit an application form. Check your medical card number at www.medicalcard.ie and see if the expiry date has changed. Let us know!

    I have read through those pages and it seems i need ref.no.,which has to issued by HSE during renewal process.

    Eh,
    click on 'card status', enter your card number and see if the expiry date has been extended.

    If it's any help to you, a friend who's card expires in May 2013 received her new card on Thursday last. She did not have to complete a renewal form. Perhaps given the Bank Holiday yours may arrive this week.

    My sons card expires in may he recieved a form last week.
    He just has to sign it and return it

    My family card was due to expire in June 13 but i rang 1890 25 29 19 and they informed me that i have got an extension for a year and they will send the new cards out within 2 weeks.

    Hello our medical will expired on November 2013, but the problem is I lost my medical card and including my son's medical card last month Someone took my bag and all my personal belongings is in that bag, how can i renew our medical card if I don't know our med card number? I do really need it especially to my son whos most needed it because of his situations. Please help.. Thank you.

    Your GP would have the number. Ring & ask his receptionist to give it to you.
