Steel Wheelhouse Wanted

    Hi All,

Does anyone know where I might be able to get my hands on a steel wheelhouse, possibly from a decommissioned trawler, in Ireland preferably? I just need a shell really, as in, no internal equipment is necessary. I know a lot of trawlers were cut up in the past due to EU fish quota regulations so if anyone has any info I'd greatly appreciate it.

    Thanks in advance

If they were decommissioned they were broken up and chopped, as scrap steel sells for a healthy price. Most of those that remain are fibreglass or timber if they are lying idle. Boatyards near fishing ports are your best bet.
