Messy Rooms

Why is it when people (mostly women that I have noticed) take full-body pictures of themselves in front of mirrors, there is usually a large amount of clutter, clothes, or trash on the floor. I just don't understand why anyone would post a picture of themselves standing in a filthy room. If you don't want to clean or don't have time to, at least push the crap out of the image!

They think people are looking at them and not the mess around them, how wrong they are.

As a curvy girl, I love this website and its empowering message. I have often thought about posting my own image on the website as I enjoy scrolling through and looking at the images. However, it also brings me to asking my question about messy rooms and self-images.

Take a look at 14 or 15 down, that's what I am talking about:

Is all the stuff they tried on before the submitted capture! Also lads will usually at least have the awareness bin all their used tissue, whilst wearing their only outfit

There's a difference between mess/clutter and filth. I can't say I've seen many examples of people takiing photos of themselves in dirty places.

Check the image that I posted. It is the second to the last image on the page.

I don't see many full-shots of men which is why I don't see many of them standing in filthy rooms. Usually, it is just a shot of them standing in front of the bathroom mirror so you only see from their waist up.

Why do people post pictures of themselves where you can see them holding up the camera? Do their phones not have timers?

    Those pictures always look awful.

Sure, but it's the exception rather than the norm.

Mess and clutter though, yes. It wouldn't kill them to push it out of the way for the pic.
