Is there any way to get a replacement ROS certificate without contacting Revenue (having to wait until Tuesday) ?

No longer have access to the email account which I registered on & they won't seem to let me sign up again as my "number is in use already"

Why the big rush? This has to be done properly, otherwise anyone could impersonate the account holder.

The "number" is your PPS number isn't it? They don't just hand out new ones when people lose their email...

this also happened to me when I changed computer as the certificate is help on the computer. I had to go through a whole palaver with revenue to get a new certificate. It took at least 8-9 days but it was during their busy period. they were helpful but their systems are a bit unwieldy. Good luck..

Gave them a call this morning & they were very helpful but it'll be at least the weekend before I get it issued :(

Anyone know if I can copy the cert onto my desktop as well as have it on my laptop for use on both?

Yes. Everyone should have a backup anyway, to avoid the hassle above.

Just copy the cert into the same folder in the same location. C:\ROS\RosCerts is the default unless you have customised it.
