Resistance issue after making first coil

Just made my first coil with SS mesh on an aga t2 and when I check the ohm level I get different figures every time. It's between 1.9 ohms and 2.2 ohms.

Is this normal or have I wrapped it wrong ?

The oxidation has been compromised! Is there a coil lighting up more than the others?
There's a short somewhere on that wick, maybe you've pulled a coil too tightly to the mesh. Give the wick a quick flame all over and coil her gently.

Lightly pulse her for about ten minutes before you fill her with juice!

bad pun about juice leakage and soggy pockets

Blade Trinity is one shiiiiiiiiiiitty movie.

But yeah, pulse the coil for a few minutes while the wick is free of juice, that should build up a bit of oxidation and stabilise the resistance.

I assume pulsing is turning it on and off ?

Yurp, light up coil with pulses until all coils light evenly.
