Came across these today, interesting birds....

So came out of the Blanchardstown center and was met with these guys. I have never seen them before in my life but was told by a fellow boardsie that they are called Waxwings ..... Poor photo but it was freezing and they would fly anytime i got close. Oh it wasnt today, but i saw them again today.

They were around in early 80s afaik but since very rarely sighted because their music sucks

Not native to Ireland, see here. I've never seen them here. Nice to see something different visiting. Were they more colourful in the feather?
