I just want to know if you are required to sign every month I just got a letter which says
You don't qualify for JSA and not entitled to sign for credits

    Thanks

You are not required to but you should look into why you are not entitled to sign for credits. The way the new pension is calculated, you can't afford to miss one week of credits.

    Could this be the reason.
You do not automatically get credits if you are getting Jobseeker's Allowance. You must have paid or credited PRSI contributions in either of the last two tax years to get credits with Jobseeker's Allowance.

Yes I lost my job in Dec 2009 and concentrated on raising kids
but unfortunately I can't get any JSA because of my husband earnings

Didn't you already ask the question here? You've been given the same answers as before too.

Have you been in contact with Welfare as yet?

No point in having 2 threads about the same thing.
