    Hi,

Anyone had wedding in Glasson recently, just wondering how are your experiences? Any suggestions would be great.

I'd really appreciate if you can PM me your package and what extras you get and price per guest.

Not sure if you got any info on this but I have worked there and attended a wedding as a guest and I couldn't fault it. One of the better meals Ive had at a wedding and a lovely location.

Have worked there as a DJ many times as I from nearby.Central location eg. hour from dublin, galway etc Nice venue all round...Staff are great the whole day seems to run well always. Have done weddings there for older and younger couples, always get positive feedback Glasson so thats a plus.

Looking at Glasson as a venue. spectacular grounds but OH is concerned there's nowhere to take indoor photos if the weather is bad. Anyone been to a wedding there in bad weather?

I have been in there when a wedding was being set up in horrific weather, the start of the recent bad storms. The weirdest thing was it was still beautiful to see the view out the window, particularly in the bay window part beside the dining area. A lot of light still comes in when the weather is rotten because the windows are so big, and the view is still luscious and stunning.

Thanks for the reply. Do you remember off hand where the photos were taken? A lot of hotels I've viewed have a nice room that can be used for indoor photos, Glasson doesn't seem to have one.

I didn't see where photos were being taken, but have often seen them done on the big stairs that sweeps up by the glass.
