Wide Angle Lens

Could anyone give me a rundown on what sort of wide angle lens options are available for my Canon 450d? I'll probably be looking at second hand and don't have a preference for Canon or off-brand lenses.

I'm in the same boat and looking around the Sigma 10-20mm seems to be by far the best bang for the buck. From some the reviews I saw on youtube it said for most people there is no point in getting the f3.5, the f4-5.6 is fine. But I'm open to correction.
