Is there still something like Early Childcare Supplement?

    Hi, My wife is getting child benefit and i was wonder is there still something like Early Childcare Supplement as far is i know its over but maybe there is something similar?(baby is only 3 months old).

    No it got replaced by the early child care scheme (free preschool place for a year)

    Ok thanks but thats for children aged over 3 months (anything under that age?) Im just asking because my wife got the leaflet from hospital saying about ECS maybe it was bit old.

    It was an old leaflet. ECS has gone. If you earn under a certain amount you might qualify for Family Income Supplement.

    ECS was removed and the ECCE year was implemented. There's nothing for children younger than those eligible for the ECCE year.
