    Hi All,

Just been diagnosed with early Hip OsteoArthritis (wear and tear).Went to see a consultant to see if they could do anything. He said the arthritis was at a very early stage and to leave well enough alone. I have a labral tear and cartilage damage.

My GP said i could possibly get keyhole camera surgery (athroscopy), and is sending me to another sports injury specialist.

Does anyone have a similar story to this?

    Any advice would be welcome.

Its is painful when i walk on uneven surfaces etc..not too stiff..

But it is worrying for the future.

    Thanks.
