    What's all this happy Easter lark?in my day it was happy Christmas and that was the chore over for the year,now it's happy Easter,happy Holloween,happy mothers day,fathers day,happy holidays,why can't people just be grumpy and miserable?we'ed all be happier.

    The earliest possible date for Easter is 22 March

    The latest is 25 April, which has not happened since 1943, and will not recur until 2038

    Although never implemented, in 1928 the House of Commons agreed a law to fix the date of Easter on the first Sunday after the second Saturday in April

    The Vatican approved a proposal for a fixed date in 1990. It was subject to agreement with other Christian churches and governments, and has not yet been reached,

    Im having a nice christmas-like dinner with the family, turkey & ham with desert afterwards. I received some chocolate eggs and I have the next week off.

    Today is a great day, even though I am not religious what so ever.

    just finished stashing lots of mini-eggs around the house for the "egg-hunt" after dinner for the smallies, (was supposed to be outside, like last year, not today though). any excuse to have some craic with the gang, easter or otherwise, who cares, eggs, bunnies, big bows, turkey, big fire, telly all day, whats not to like!

    Always nice to have an excuse to get together with people. Had a lovely roast dinner and am lying on the couch eating Easter eggs with husband and my uncle. Lovely relaxing day :)

    I hate Easter in Germany. Good Friday, Sunday and Monday all gives them an excuse for a bank holiday, so nothing is open.

    I have no food in my house...
