    I've bought about five phones on eBay over the years and every single time there's been a problem. There will probably be a mass of replies saying otherwise but I'd never go near eBay for a phone again. Amazon all the way though!

    Have to agree there, it's Amazon and Adverts.ie all the way (not to forget good o'l Dabs.ie too ;) )

    That said I would hold off on the SGS3 for now, the SGS4 is due for release in 3 weeks or better yet the HTC one :) (I have my feelers out for bargains on this, will update when I do)

    Additionally you'll want a UK or Irish LTE version of any new phone. Like the SGS3 above, The German LTE network is mostly in the 800mhz and 2600mhz ranges. Where-as Ireland will mostly be in the 900mhz and 1800mhz range so they're incompatible.
