DSG gear box in seat leon

    any one any feed back positive or negative ,

    have a dsg tiptronic auto six speed gear box in a 08 seat leon 2 l turbo petrol , havent had any problems myself but am standing by for some

    This gearbox is actually stronger than the manual by a long way just make sure to keep changing the oil at the proper intervals, does that gen of Leon FR come with the K04 turbo ? If so remap it for 290 bhp :)

    its not stable enough for the 200 hp it has , i had a 1.8 turbo leon manual and it was a much more stable car, problem with the gear box though, good to know that about the dsg box though

    I know what you mean - you have a DSG 'box - but you don't have a Tiptronic box - that's a different technology (older).

    well i can change up and down with paddles on the wheel or i can push back and forward to change on the gear stick or i can leave it in drive , and theres a sport option , not sure what exactly youd call that but it seems to be working
