Do any military aircraft show on Flightradar 24.A aircraft at 30,ooo+ flying west to east went over Killiney at 19.10 tonight and I could not see it on FR24 or hear anything on scanner.

Pretty much entirely no. Its not actually "radar", its ADS-B which most older craft, military craft and private craft don't have.

Also, many types of commercial craft don't either - you won't see Aer Lingus Regional ATRs or FlyBe's Dash8s at Dublin on it.

Thanks for that, is there any benefit in selecting FAA setting on FR24 in Dublin or is the data not of use here

The odd time you will get Luftwaffe and RAF Aircraft on FR24.

The RAF Voyager shows up I believe as it has/had civillian registration?

The A400M Grizzly F-WWMZ shows up occasionaly, but no "proper" Military assets will show such as Tornado/Typhoon etc.

As you can see in this link there are a few Luftwaffe assets that can be seen every so often:

I believe they are not fully military when they show up.

You may see the odd few, very rare though; not many mil type stuff on fr24..

Seen 2 Saudi C130's over Ireland one day on fr24. Plus if you type "GOTO FMS" into the search bar, an US Navy E6B may be available to track over the US.

And apparently Air Force 1 was on it once before..

Edit: A lot of Russian Air Force transport a/c show up too

Some mil traffic is restricted on the sites but i can get some on the radar box and some fighters will pop up
