    Im thinking of getting lesson off gary mclean in carlow driving range.i see you can get 6 30 mins lesson for 125euro which seems pretty good.does anyone have any experience of him or know if he's anygud?

    I know its not really answering your question, but the usual advice is that you would be much better off not wasting your money on lessons if you really want to improve your game, but to spend it on new gear instead; clubs really (and get more bang for your buck by avoiding custom fitting - a few waggles should tell you what suits your game), but drivers best of all.

    Are you serious? Good technique beats good clubs any day of the week.
