    Great to see them this month, but i cant help feeling sad at not seeing a single honey-bee in the last 5 years here in North Cork. My kids are teenagers now and have never seen one flying around.
    I was thinking that hover-flies must have filled the niche left, as their numbers have definetly increased in the last few years
    ( although maybe its just me noticing them , whilst I look for honey-bees )
