Wondering will you fill your quota, will you be over/under and by how much? What's you opinion of next year?

We will fill only just, will need to be collected on Sunday might be a few hundred short:eek::eek:

I can't see it being filled next year as a lot of cows are in bad order around the country. I know it's too soon to predict but just a feeling. It would want to be a super summer. 2c milk rise on the way for March it looks like, hope I'm right.

i will be so far under i wouldnt even put it up here, with the crap summer and now the way the weather is, i will also get no prizes for milk production in the last quota year either

nxt year i should be again 80% over my current quota:eek::eek:, ive gambled the last 5 yrs and got away with it!. Luckily with arrabawn, shares will account for volume from 2015. Cant see there being a problem either, theyre wont be grass for 4 weeks, late silage harvest, cows thin not milking well etc

    286000 over as of today

bought 74000 in the last exchange at 20cent

delivered 85000litres in march with 99cows total which includes dry and cull cows

15 % over , collection to morro morn - 1 hour for st

will do lucky to fill next year , carrying a lot of heifers and working grass based system , don't believe in putting litres in the tank to keep salemen in 131 cars

arrabawn supplier ok for shares post '15

A long way off also, We have the land/fodder etc, but had too many carry over cows etc for the last few years. Getting on top of that now, have 40 replacements coming in over the next 18months, but still hard to know if that will push me to the quota for 2014 when the culling is finished, with heifers producing less volume etc. Maybe 2015. Post quota I can go from the 75 cows we currently have up to about 95, possibly alot more depending on rented land, but that's well off the radar at the second!

same as whelan 1, i that much under ashamed to make it up

re over quota next yr doubt it as cows poor condition and crap spring and every lad in the country will be using any bit of ground they can spare for silage, 2013/14 isnt a yr i worry about, it 2014/15 is when super levy will be a major factor for glanbia, dairygold and arrabawn i say

20% over with last collection today... was pretty sure 6 weeks ago i`d be taking it easy from apr 1st but now its hard to call...

I reckon about 15% over by apr 1st. As for next year could be wrong but if we get any sort of normal weather this year i cant see how we wont have a super levey next year serious amount of stock in the country and milk price looking strong if we get grass going well lads are going pump it out to get cash generated in the short term and prob hope to chance next march.

Milk collected just as i finished milking this evening and ended up 8 % over.I said all spring that with all the extra stock calving down that this comming quota year had major superlevy written all over it.I still think we could have a problem once grass starts growing and if we get a good summer. However with current weather conditions and no grass/crap silage i think if u can it would be worth taking a gamble on going 10 to 15% over
