Seems like a good price op, I have given bosch reciprocation saw a lot of abuse in the past and never failed. I was a bit more heavy duty than this one though


Edit: They take special blades which at a quick search look expensive. So if you want to do a lot of cutting, be worth it to spend a bit more as other saws use a standard shape blade.

30 euro in Lidl...goes through allmost anything.Carry case included and a 3 year guarantee aswell.

Ive given it serious abuse and its not let me down once.

The handle even turns 180 degrees each way for any awkward cuts that you need to make.

Comes with 3 short blades and 3 long quick fit blades too (wood metal,plastic etc).:)

Lidl sell 6 packs of blades (3 short and 3 long) ..and any good tool shop (like McQuillans) will also sell the various blades that fit the Parkside saw.:)


Ive used it to ripp through/cut up pallets for kindling for the stove.

Girlfriend has used it to go through 5 inch thick creasote railway sleepers,4 inch thick new PT sleepers and even take down some 6 inch thick tree branches.....not a problem at all for that little Parkside/Lidl bad boy.:D
