Does anyone have any recommendations for a place that's open in Dublin on Sunday, preferably City Centre or Southside? Looking to get threaded and tinted.

Also, after trawling through threads I still can't figure out if HD brows is just a glorified eyebrow tint and if I'll end up with giant caterpillars. Should I go with a tint first and see how that goes?

You will have a lot of trouble finding somewhere open on Easter Sunday!

I know! Damn you Jesus! * shakes fist *

There's very few hairdressers and beauticians that open on a Sunday anyway.

Are brows easily messed up? I've never gotten them done before. Is it too dangerous to take a chance on somewhere just because they're open?

    There's actually nowhere.

Arnotts, Debenhams, Dundrum are all closed tomorrow. Brown Thomas is open but no one tints browns anymore (Estee Lauder used to but dont anymore and the Benefit counter there don't have a brow bar). Shu uemura in Brown Thomas apparently do threading but no tint but they're refusing to answer the phone.

    Sad panda

Using some slanted scissors..japanese technique i think...And tweeze strays...anyone ever get it done here? It was only launched last month the girl was saying..would be interested to hear any reviews..the girl I spoke to had lovely brows :) it's 20e

Bumping this to see if anyone has any rec's for HD brows near Dublin 16 or city centre. I love the look of the shape of them, never had them done...and there is one person I know who got them done, and in my opinion they tinted them way too dark on her face...that's what I'd be scared of even though I'm dark haired anyway...but I don't want to look like someone else after I get them done! Any advice greatly appreciated.

100% recommend Lorna Farrelly https://www.facebook.com/LornaFarrellyTheBrowArtist?fref=ts She gets booked up extremely quickly, but often posts last minute cancellations on her FB.

She's €45, but well worth it. Threads, tweezes and uses scissors to get the perfect shape. She also has a huge range of dyes than can be mixed to get a perfect colour.

I have disastrous eyebrows. They completely uneven, like my face is wonky or something :p I can never get them to even out with just pencil/shadow.

Before (this was just after a regular €8 threading)

    After Lorna's magic!!

thanks for posting up, they look nice and natural, (your own before ones are nice too, in my opinion!)
Is that just after she did one session with you, or a couple?

That was one session. I didn't go near them for about a month before so there was a fair amount of eyebrow to work with!

    I used to get my brows tinted and waxed literally for the last 10 years. Recently I decided to get HD Brows as I really disliked my eyebrows. I absolutely love them. My eyebrow hair is thick and wirey, I always found that the tiny only lasted a week maximum. The tint seems to last a lot longer with HD. I've totally converted. With HD they shape, wax, thread, tint and trim your eyebrows. It takes nearly -an hour and the first time I was convinced I would have no eyebrow hair left. Here's my before and after;

HD are so expensive though, whats the price for?

The lady that does my eyebrows charges €16 for a shape and tint. Well, the salon she works in does. To get HD brows it costs about €35. They end up looking exactly the same! I'm so happy I found her.
