    Howdy folks,
Just a quick question regarding the sec30 foreshore licence. I've read about them on the official site, and downloaded the form. Seems simple enough. There is a list of lakes attached to the form, indicating where you can apply for. However, I have a shooting permission where the land runs along a big river. Obviously the farmer doesn't own the river so would I need this licence to shoot duck along here?!!
    Thanks in advance!

I know the licence will cover you on a tidal river to the highest point of the tide once you have permission to get access to the river bank from the land owner. If the river you mention is not tidal but you have permission to shoot the land well if a duck fly's over that land that your on he's fair game. I stand to be corrected.

It's not tidal, its actually in the earlier stages of the river. The land is fenced off either side of the river, more so to keep livestock away from it. The farmer told me he has let the local gunclub over the land, and they sometimes go there for duck. They might have a clubs one year licence.
And could I name a lake that I know I could access?!!
Sorry if the questions seem dumb, I'm a complete beginner at this.

You can name a few lake's and try and get access after. If the land owner gave permission to the gun club to enter his land to shoot duck well I don't see why you cant shoot them either.
