changing riello burner to different model

    hi,im working on a potterton stateman oil boiler90/110.its about 15 years old approx.the burner is a RBL G5BF.the oil pump is gone and the bearings on motor nearly gone.can i fit a new riello rdb 2.2 90/120 and set it up to the same btu..thanks

    Yes but the G5T will be more suitable as the blast tube will be more suitable for the flame chamber.

    I would second what shane said, If it were me I would go with the G5T also

    I have replaced with RDB on a few occasions (and eliminated the metal shroud) with no trouble at all.

    AFAIK you can't get the baffles for the statesman anymore
