Merchant number for online/phone payments

    Hi

    Where is the best place to get an account to take payments online and over the phone , been onto AIB bank but they want a bond for this.

    Anyone now where I could get something like this

    Most banks do merchant services. Ulsterbank are meant to be one of the cheapest. Elvaon (bank of ireland) also do it. I recommend you shop around. You will need a processer such as realex or sage pay. They might be able to help you.

    If its only a few transactions at the beginning, maybe start off using Paypal.
