Looking for a set of carbon clinchers. Shimano free hub.
I don't need a cassette or tyres, but no harm if included.

Really looking for 50 or 60mm

I can only pay PayPal, funds ready to send.

    Hey,
You should pick up a set of 2nd hand cosmic carbon 50mm for around €500,there was a guy on donedeal with a TT/tri bike in Sligo with cosmic's on it and he was going to sell the cosmic's for €500,I'm not sure how old they are,If the add is not up pm me and I should have his ph no,I had been on to him few week back about them but I went for a new set for the young lad in the end,the Westport bike shop looked after me with a good price on a new set,

I haven't purchased yet, but they seem to be the most affordable being under 600 (new). Unless I've been looking in the wrong places but where have you seen the Cosmics for a similar price? :)

    Hey,

I only see that now,1st time I looked I seen the €700+ price, now I see there is 2 prices, the cosmic's can be got for around €800 - €830ish in my lbs, they could be a good wheel I just did not come across them before, but unless others on here have used them and can give you some feedback I'd save for a bit longer for the mavic cosmic carbon's,I know a good few that has cosmic's for years and still no Probs with them, one lad has them for over 7years of A1/A2 racing,I know there is €200 in the price but if they last you that much longer I'd say there worth it,

That said look up them other wheels they might have got great reviews on the web and be every bit as good as the mavic's,good luck with the wheel hunt anyways,

    Cheers zip,

Planet X in Athlone have a choice of carbon clinchers in the €650 range, either their own 52 or 60mm versions or the Shimano RS80 jobs. Not sure about stock levels, but they always get them back in....

Hi Rob, What year are they, what use and condition? can you please send me some pictures? thanks

They are 2010 I think. Away at inlaws until mon will send pics then. They were used very little as TT wheels by Brian Mccrystal then 4-5 times by me.
Clyydesdale are the one which can take a heavier rider (up to 90kgs I think)

be careful buying wheels online what happens if ya bust a spoke = your going nowhere and left with expensive shed ornaments .!

make sure there is a solid spares service from manufacturer like mavic and fulcrum.
