    I have done this type of job on and off for years... Just got 2 jobs in recent weeks.

    Do not use websites for this type of work. POUND THE PAVEMENT. It's the only way!

    Print off 20 CVs, head into the nearest town, city and just call in... CVs that are emailed or posted will get ignored. Most pubs restaurants cafes don't have time (also can't be bothered) to advertise... Calling in in person is by far the best approach.

    Just have a bit of cop on - don't call in during busy periods (lunch etc), don't wait to speak to someone if the place is very busy.... Dress as you would if hired, funky with cons etc or black trousers and a black top - whatever style. Don't wear office wear, you'll look like you won't know what you're doing.

    Best of luck!! There are loads of Staff Wanted signs around Dublin city at the moment - hopefully other cities and big towns are the same.. Tourist season is starting!
