    Hi,
My 06 Corolla interior heating fans (no a/c) only work on highest setting (4th). I read around online that this is a blower resistor  However, I couldn't find for sure where exactly it is in my Corolla? Anybody any ideas?

Your ballast resistor is faulty. A common fault with most blower resistors. Essentially it is no longer providing resistance to slow the motor but when you switch it to max, the resistor is bypassed and the blower runs at full tilt.

    Thanks a million!
Ah. I was searching for blowing resistors on car parts website. I was getting A/C parts.
How do I know which ballast resistor I need, or is it a case of searching until I find?

Your local motor factor may have one. If not, your Toyota dealer can get the right one from your chassis number.
