Help in identifying plant

28-03-2013 7:47pm#1I got a root ball late last year in a plastic bag, which I completely forgot about. It sat in a basket along with bulbs (again slightly forgotten about).
Late January I saw a little green stem peeping through a mass of roots and grains of soil. My curiosity got the better of me, so I planted it up.
Two months down the line and here it is so far. two more shoots have climbed their way through into the light.
...I'm just hoping it isn't a weed...
