Got this game today after a couple of minutes it crashes and error message shows 150-1091. There is no marks on disc other games play ok. Rang shop they want me to bring it in and they will test it. They do not have a WiiU to test on so I will have to leave it with them for a while.

I wanted to bring it in and swap for another. They have none left so that's not happening. Could I get a refund?

Rang Nintendo they reckon they have never seen the error before ,it is on the net for the last couple of months so that's not true. There only solution is to send console and game to them. And wait till they test. It.

    Any ideas?

You might get a better response on the consumer issues forum

This error seems to happen with faulty/damaged discs, well that is the general consensus from search results.People have returned various Wii U game discs and had them replaced, ending in a successful result.
Some said that if you run your finger around the edge of the disc, you might notice a small defect/indentation or it might not even be a visible flaw.

I'd say the easiest option is to get a refund and buy it elsewhere, you're entitled to a full refund if the product isn't functioning. Ask nicely, but be firm, the shop shouldn't give you any hassle.

Shops get funny about software returns. Seems to be a big holdover from the glory days of piracy ;) If they don't have a WiiU to test the disc that's their problem. If they got a bad disc in a sealed box, that's a supply issue, ie their problem. If they can't replace the item, that's also their problem.

They sold you something. It should work. It doesn't. You are entitled to replacement, repair or refund, provided they can do so reasonably and they can't repair or replace in a reasonable time frame.

Not suggesting you be a dick about it, but at the same time don't feel that their problems are yours.

The issue here is the "reasonable time frame" - they could deem a week to be reasonable (i.e. while they get a Wii U to test it on)

Relative to the time frame the transaction takes to complete, ie seconds, and the time a refund takes to process, ie minutes, it's not. They're not equipped to test it. It's not reasonable to ask you to wait till they are.

If they can't test it there on site, thats their issue. They can't repair it, & if they can't replace it, that leaves a refund. I'd be polite about it, but if they got sticky about it I'd have no probs kicking up a fuss.

Lads is Lego city undercover worth picking up now it's in the selects range? I've played a few off-the-wall Lego games, batman etc bit I'm unsure on this. It looks fun but is it more of a kids game?

Well worth it, in my opinion. It's basically GTA Lego City. Fun with loads of references.

Only downside would be the loading times when entering a building or something. But not too frequent and sure can check your phone or something while waiting. The city itself is pretty big open world to explore.

    And I'm 35

Yeah just to echo the above, it's the best Lego game I've played, really good. Crap ton of things to do in it and the jokes/film references are excellent. Easily worth the 20 odd quid or whatever the Selects price is.

There's been cheaper prices online but I think they've expired now.
