    Ameile
    Donnie Brasko
    Mean Streets
    Sirpico
    What's Eating Gilbert Grape
    Reservoir Dogs
    Into The Wild
    apocalypto
    Pillow talk

    Not enough Sci-Fi
    Needs Prometheus and/or Aliens

Might as well throw a few Asian films in there. Tonnes of undervalued movies.

Try A Bittersweet Life, The Vengeance Trilogy (Sympathy for Mr Vengeance, Oldboy and Lady Vengeance), Love Exposure, Memories of Murder, Chungking Express or Sonatine.

May not fit with the rest but All the Presidents Men is an epic watch.

Filling some more genre gaps in your list. Tony (2009), Aliens, From Dusk till Dawn and The Thing.

    Great list BTW.

Oh, I forgot to include (not sci-fi)
    A Few Good Men
    12 Angry Men
    To Kill A Mockingbird
    Mississippi Burning

    (some other genre favourite movies)

Have to include a Hitchcock. The Birds or North By Northwest.

Edit, see you have already. Sorry :-)
