    Folks,
I'd like to visit the Hill of Uisneach with the kids tomorrow. Are there any access issues ?
Do I access directly from road between Ballymore and Loughanavally, or other ?
And is it right there beside the road or are there several fields to cross (ref kids) with wellies ?
    Thanks for your advice.

hi, you've got the right road and entry, but there are access issues It's still private land with no real public access like other ancients site, lough crew or carrowkeel. you will need permission to go see the catseye stone and the marker on the north side of the hill top, The original swing gate access half way up the road is blocked of with thorny bushes. The land is pretty dry but its a steep climb and roughly 300m from the road. The marker is a great spot to see the sunrise
    regards triskell

The guy who owns it has his mobile number on the gate.
Just give him a quick buzz and theres no problem. He's sound.
