€8 k where to save?

    Hi, I recently inherited a bit of cash that I have no particular use for now so where would be the best place to save it for a year or so? I'd like to put €7 k away for a year or so and be able to get the other €1 k out within a week or so if anything comes up.
    Also what kind of interest rate could one expect for a sum like this?
