Just to give a alternative experience I ordered amd paid online for an A3 licence for a club member on Monday morning and the licence & numbers arrived in post yesterday.

On the whole I think there has been a big improvement in the issuing and distribution of licences this year. I find email to be the best way to communicate with CI.
