    Hi folks,

    My girlfriends currently earns about 350 a week from her job. I am on Jobseekers Allowance of 188 a week. I want to move in with her. I cant make head nor tails what my allowance would be reduced by. can someone go through step by step calculations of the result/answer what im entitled to? and also a citizens information link coz i cant seem to find one? I would be very grateful for an answer!

    They generaly only want a up to date payslip as this will show totals to date ie,gross pay,deductions ect.

    okay coz one most weeks my girlfriend gets after comes out only with 340 a week. but every few weeks she would get overtime and she could come out with more then 500. so when i have a chance i mite head down to citizens advice so i dont know. mmmmm

    My wage slips were like that, if someone was sick, I'd have to cover and I might work 45 hrs that week instead of the usual 25, so they took an average of the previous 16 weeks payslips for a means test last June.

    Cool.thanks fot this info! well ill look into it anyways. and is my girlfriend allowed work fulltime just once its under a certain amount? as in can she work more then 3 days? If i only could find some stable employment that would solve our problems and i could could move in. Silly recession, im kind of getting sick of it now. Its been going on 5 years!!!!grrrrrr

    i work 5 days, my partner claims for me and they reduce his payment based on what i earn.
