Ikarus has landed

    just over 2 weeks earlier than expected but with a 3 month wait, the Ikarus arrived today. Well worth the wait and really glad I went for the option of the blued hands and the onion crown

    Currently on the old style black leather strap but I got an old style brown strap aswell for a change every now & again

    upload them to imgur.com, it will give you a bbcode that you paste into your post to display the images. You can also do it via boards but you would want to resize them to something like 800 px on the long side.

    For anyone not familiar, the style of a lot of the Stowa watch range is based on proper pilot timepieces from around WWII (Germany) and, typically, they were made to be worn *over* clothing.

    I was at the Stowa website today and after a video showing a watch movement ended, one of the proposed videos to watch next was the clip that I've embedded.

    Incredible looking piece, and it looks to be in good health, internally.
