So, the mats in my car are in an awful state. The drivers mat has a hole in it :o. I've been looking for some replacements, but have been getting either insane prices, or reasonable prices but I begin to question the quality of them.

So where do you guys get your car mats?

I got matts for my E46 from Micksgarage.

They are very poor quality which is a pity as the last ones I got for my Pisshat came form there and were good for the price.

The current ones after 8 weeks are showing wear where my heel sits and the sticky pads for holding them in position don't work.

I went to BMW for the last set I bought and the quality was well worth it. More expensive of course but lousy, ill fitting mats are a pain at best and dangerous at worse.

C3BMW in the UK do excellent quality and fit mats that aren't as dear as oem

id order my BWM mats off cassidy renauto on Dorset street. My mats did't have the logo on them , they were only 60 euros

Depends, you can get good non-OEM mats in many places but I sense you wants OEM mats with logo and all?
I'd suggest go with an ebay seller recommended by people on bmw-driver.net and similar sites.

Not necessarily looking for OEM mats, unless the consensus on here is that all others are rubbish. The mats in the car at the minute are probably ebay jobs. But they are in bits. After trying to clean the interior over the weekend, I'm realising that I just need new ones.

And to make this a tad more annoying, I'm looking for gray mats to match the interior. Might be stuck and have to go OEM.

Just buy OEM for the mats.

You can buy the front only.

I tried many internet and local shops before, they look nice at first, nice finish and all, but as soon as they take a bit of water they deteriorate immediately unlike the original ones.

    My personal experience...

BMW-driver have had a number of group buys for matts over the years and AFAIK got quite decent prices on them. Might be worth investigating?

Now I'm looking for mats too lol. Different car though.

It's worth looking at the Canon rubber car mats too directly from Canon. Just note that the full 4 mat set is cheaper than the 2 mat set once you factor in the delivery. They are a great mat. I have a set covering my OEM mats, they do a great job of keeping the mud contained.
I bought another set of OEM Mats on one of the BMW-Driver.net group buys too, they are still in the packaging, not sure when I'll break them out!

I recently got exact fit mats from Micksgarage and was happy with them, they fit exactly, the drivers one came with two fasteners so it doesn't move, they are also anti slip, passenger one hasn't moved either even though it's not fixed to the original floor carpet, cost €28 incl delivery within a day or two

How much are they off BMW, can you just buy a front pair, I need one as well:(

Yeah, you can actually just buy the driver's mat on its own. This is what I usually do as the driver's mat gets the most wear.

It's the passenger side I need, I got a bucket of paint on it..can you get just that?

Yeah I'd be interested to hear how much just a drivers mat is.

My Passat ones were like that hence I was so disappointed this time round.

I'd be slow to order again

Another recommendation for OEM here, picked up a set in a BMW-Driver group deal a couple years ago and they still came up perfect with just a hoover when I went to sell it. Ask Matt Simis if you don't believe me. :)

I wouldn't get a single mat. There will be at least a slight colour difference.Even if nobody else can notice it you will every time you get in the car and it will annoy you. The mats on Micksgarage are under €30 a set and you can always send them back if you're not happy with them when they arrive.

If they wear out in six months you're down €30 whick is the price of a decent set of wiper blades. Worth risking the €30 in my mind.

As far as I know BMW only sell the by pair, either way the front or the rear. Not just one of them.
    But I stand corrected...

    Have you tried Schmiedmann?

Have a look at Halfords (yes really). They do model specific mats in a high quality velour, made to order and from the UK. There's a light grey as well as a darker charcoal/anthracite grey, think I paid around €60-70.

    They are crap period.
A bit of water and they are only good for the bin
The stiching and colors are nice and well done, but sub 0 quality material.

    Well, there you go.

    I'm happy with mine FWIW.
