Cull cow with a back breaking out???

I've a cull cow i got recently off a mate i gave a few bales of silage to, the idea was to put her out on grass and fattem her up in June, however...
Anyway I treated her with an ivermectin pour-on and zanil drench after i got her as she was from an organic herd and fierce scuttery.
However the hair has come off her back and the skin has actually disappeared and the scabbed over in two spots, the scab is weeping now a light yellow kind of pus.
Any idea of what I should do with her?
I would imagine wash it off and treat her with penstrip or somethink like that, is there a danger she could be condemned when she goes to the factory?
The withdrawal period for penstrip is 23 days so that should cover me on that anyway.

Are the scabbed areas white? Is she out?

its just a reaction to the pour on.
she should come fine with time.
As others have said a salt wash is a good idea.

I would be suspecting it could be a photosensitive reaction to ingredients in the pouron, aided maybe by a liver under pressure from fluke.

Light is part of the allergic reaction- yellow secretion would be typical.

Most important thing would be to put her in a dark house for a few days to let the chemicals clear her system.
    Multivitamins will boost liver function.
Glycerine (1/4 pint twice a day) will give her some energy to work with.

After that topical treatment, maybe an antiseptic ointment.

Im seeing allot of Mange in cattle this year which is something that wasnt prevalent for many's the year. but when you say there is puss coming out that a different story. No point killing such an animal when the withdrawal as around these parts killing such animals is only drawing the wrong type of attention on you by authorities.

IMO, bring her in out of the light, topical treatment etc and stop worrying. Unless it's something well out of the ordinary she'll heal and be okay.

Can you post a picture or two? One of the whole animal and one close up?
