    GU10 Halogen Bulb stuck.

Have made several attempts to remove it, including using a suction cup that is intended to help out with these bulbs.

It's the first time I've failed to remove one of these.

One suggestion I've seen is to break the glass to get a proper grip and remove piece by piece if necessary??

Anyone have any advice on this?

if you have a pair of marigolds handy, they give you better grip then the cups. try to leave the fitting to cool down and im not sure breaking the glass will help, it will not make the base easier to access.

Is it a sealed fitting, or open at the top?
It could be easier to pop the fitting down from the ceiling if it is open at the top, you should be able to get a grip then.
