Radiator trouble

    Having a problem with our heating just now. Downstairs rads are heating up fine. Upstairs are warm at the bottom only, and stone cold at the top. Read that I should check our pressure. Managed to locate our pressure gauge and this is what I found... Looks like it might be broken to me. Can anyone image.jpg

    Sounds like the rads need to be bleed. Probably air In the top portion of the rads so they don't heat.

    Get yourself a bleed screw wrench
    And see how it Goes.

    if that gauge is reading correct you will need to add more water to the system before you can bleed the radiators.
    Should be a valve somewhere that does that near the gauge. of course there is the question of why you lost pressure, I will leave that for a plumber to answer.

    if you have a fill loop you can top up the pressure. If it falls again though you probabaly have a leak. Happened to me . :(
